Constable Brennan Biography by Jason MacNeil
Originating from a small town east of Ottawa, this group performed in various rock, punk, and ska outfits before joining forces and moving to Toronto in 1999. In January 2000, the group performed their first gig at Toronto's Kathedral. The band released their debut EP, No Belt, No Shoes, No Sober, in 2000, and opened for various ska and punk bands, including the Slackers, the Kingpins, and the English Beat. In 2001, the group returned to the studio with Vic Ruggiero of the Slackers. In 2002, the band released It's Not As Bad As You Think. The group has played the Toronto bar scene regularly and have performed at Canadian Music Week as well.
